What is Mindfulness?

It’s a state of being aware of your thoughts and actions and being in the moment. It helps us to have undivided focus on the present situation and saves a lot of mental and physical energy in the process. It’s a kind of ongoing meditation without having to sit in a particular posture or listening to a particular music. For example, say you are watering the plants. You focus on how the water enriches the soil and makes it moist, the leaves get drenched with the water and turn from dusty to a rich green colour.
